First the back yoke is worked, then the right and left front yoke. Before the body is finished, double-knitted front edges are worked on the fronts of the yoke and the stitches from these are joined with the body. The double-knitted front edges look like stockinette stitch from both the right side and wrong side. The jacket is closed down at the front with a zipper and a facing is worked for the zipper before it is sewn in.\u003cbr\u003eThe sleeves are worked in the round from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armholes.
