3 stitch markers
Gauge 23 stitches and 46 rows (23 ridges) of garter stitch on needle size 3,5 / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
Procedure
The shawl is worked from the center back and outwards. You start by casting on 1 stitch, then knitting and working increases throughout the shawl. The rib hem is worked at last.
