One of our generation's most notable and provoking contemporary artists, Grayson Perry is depicted here in all his glory. Emily Peacock has created a stunning image of the wonderful Grayson Perry CBE RA, the well known, wonderfully eccentric yet down-to-earth English artist, writer and broadcaster.
Emily has portrayed him as ‘Claire’, his female alter-ego. As well as being totally transfixed by his work, he also appeals greatly to her love of eccentricity. Original individuals that these islands were once known for are becoming a rarity, as thought and deed become more homogenised. Grayson is a great reminder to be authentic and bold and not follow the herd.
