This is one of five unique maps offering a level of detail never before shown for Jotunheimen. The terrain information is based on airborne laser scanning. Mountain cliffs, waterways, glaciers and other natural features are displayed in much greater detail thanks to this technology.
The map also includes more trails than any previous map of the same area. A map at a scale of 1:25,000 is an excellent tool for planning summit hikes to Falketinden (2,067 m), Stølsnostinden (2,074 m) or Uranostinden (2,157 m). It is also suitable for those who wish to leave marked trails and explore their own routes in the high mountains.
The map is printed on Tyvek, a synthetic fibre material that makes it completely waterproof and highly tear-resistant.
