Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area is Finland’s largest wilderness area and is located in northern Lapland. Along the popular Sevetti–Pulmanki trail there are several cabins for overnight stays. The area is also excellent for mountain biking, but the routes are unmarked in the terrain and can at times be technically demanding. The proximity to the Arctic Ocean makes the weather unpredictable and changeable.
The map is printed on Tyvek®, a waterproof and tear-resistant material. You therefore don’t need to protect it from rain, and it will withstand frequent use. The manufacturer guarantees the material can endure up to 20,000 folds.
