This guide consists of a book and a map which together give you all the necessary information to succeed in a Kebnekaise ascent.

In addition to descriptions of the various routes to the south peak, many tips are given on day trips around Kebnekaise mountain station. You can also read about different alternative

ways to hike between the starting point Nikkaluokta and the mountain station.

The accompanying map is printed on waterproof tyvek and has two sides. One side is very detailed at a scale of 1:20,000 and shows the terrain closest to the mountain station itself. The other side of the map is on a scale of 1:50,000 and gives a

larger overview.

The texts in the book are written by the author and photographer Fredrik Neregård. He has written several popular guidebooks about hiking in the mountains.
