Doreen June offers a wonderfully surreal take on the traditional Tree of Life, inspired by the strange and fantastical world of Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights. Flora, butterfly wings and seashells come together in unexpected combinations, creating a dreamlike celebration of the natural world and all its curious beauty.

Painted in gouache, the design has a rich tonal depth and intricate detail that echoes the remarkable realism of Bosch’s masterpiece. Familiar natural forms become something altogether more fantastical, resulting in an imaginative print filled with unusual details to discover.

Doreen June forms part of Gallery Garden, the second chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the history of gardens and the art they have inspired through the ages, from Egyptian and Roman influences to Persian miniature gardens and Japanese Zen landscapes.
