Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn® Mon Jardin C

Created with richly saturated oil pastels, Mon Jardin is an expansive abstract design inspired by the dreamlike paintings of Pierre Bonnard. Layers of colour appear to shift and blend across the fabric, capturing the feeling of a garden bathed in soft, diffused light.

Rather than depicting individual flowers and foliage, Mon Jardin evokes the atmosphere of a garden through colour, texture and movement. The beautifully tactile quality of the oil pastels remains visible throughout, giving the design a wonderfully expressive, almost hazy appearance that feels as though it is constantly changing before your eyes.

Mon Jardin forms part of Painted Garden, the third chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the vibrant fusion of colour, pattern and texture found in the work of artists inspired by their own cultivated gardens, and the fascinating relationship between nature and creativity.
