Önling's Everyday Kit in Önling No 12 and Önling No 13 is a lovely blend of soft, lightweight yarns, perfect for light summer knitting.

In this yarn kit you get a total of three cones: two cones (1750 yards / 1600 m in total) Önling No 12, and one cone (1759 yards / 1600 m) Önling No 13. You work with two strands together throughout.

Weight: two strands held together = Fingering

You need to choose your own color mix - see further down, which color combinations we recommend.

Our Everyday Yarn, Önling No 12, is a light mix of 55% wool and 45% cotton. Önling No 13 is our companion yarn in cashmere and super soft first-cut lambswool. Knitted together the two strands make up a fantastic combination, as Önling No 13 gives Önling No 12 a softer look, better texture, and firmer structure.

You can knit any size of an entire sweater using two cones of Önling No 12 and one cone of Önling No 13. All our designs in Önling No 12, can be knitted in one strand of Önling No 13 and one strand of Önling No 12. For inspiration, see knitting patterns with Önling No 12 here, and knitting kits in Önling No 12 and Önling No 13 here.

Directions for wash:
The yarn Önling No 12 and Önling No 13 has not been prewashed when you receive the cones. You get the best result by soaking the finished project in lukewarm water for about 2 hours. Then wash the project as you would otherwise do using a wool wash, either by hand or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Dry flat.
