With map coverage on both sides, this map covers the central valleys of the Valdres region, offering both short and longer hiking opportunities.
The map is part of Calazo's modern map series, featuring unique terrain information based on airborne laser scanning for exceptional detail and accuracy. We have used detailed aerial imagery to correct all trails in the area and have also identified and added many trails that were missing from official map databases.
The map covers the most popular mountain areas, including cabins operated by DNT and other organisations. It also shows waymarked hiking routes and works equally well in winter, with marked winter routes and groomed cross-country ski trails. The map is ideal for hikes along the Valdres Pilgrimage Route or for a summit trip to Rundmellen (1,345 m).
The map is printed on Tyvek, a synthetic fibre material that makes it completely waterproof and highly tear-resistant.
